- The Safety Protection System (SPS) is an electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening as an additional safety feature to help prevent accidents and/or overfeeding.

- The plugs on this shredder, is it a 20AMP locking or a reg 20amp plug. Thanks
- It is a 20 amp regular plug, but it needs to be plugged into a 20 amp dedicated circuit to operate properly. The plug connections themselves have the ground and a vertical and then one that is horizontal.

This model replaced the SEM 266/3 Maximum Security/Cross-Cut Paper Shredder.
