Questions on Premier 318 Rotary Trimmer Paper Cutter
- From Stephen Naramore at 3/24/11 4:39 PM
- Do you have a guide on how to replace the blade? I've just replaced the old blade, but it doesn't seem to glide the same.
- Here are instructions on how to replace the blade:
1. To adjust the 318, loosen the bolts at the end of the guide rod. There is a bolt at both ends of the trimmer.
2. Then push the cutting head to the top of the board, push down and in on the cutting handle, hold it in place and tighten the bolt.
3. Slide the cutting head to the bottom of the trimmer and repeat for that bolt. This should bring it back to the right tension.
4. If the guide bar is bent, place the curve downward.
5. If the curve is excessive you need to straighten it out before using.
6. Do not use the guide rod as a handle.
