- The Formax FD 8500AF Auto-Feed Office Shredder features a dedicated Auto-Feed Hopper which allows users to load up to 175 sheets, press start and walk away! No more standing in front of the shredder, hand-feeding small stacks of paper one after another. The Auto-Feeder has a capacity of up to 175 sheets, up to 11” x 17”. The Standard Hand-Feed Hopper accommodates 16-18 sheets at a time, in sizes up to 16” wide.
- Commercial-grade features include an easy-to-use LED control panel with load indicator, heat-treated steel blades, a steel cabinet, lifetime guaranteed waste bin, and a powerful AC geared-motor ensure years of reliable performance and information security in your office environment.
- Accepts staples, paper clips and credit cards in hand-feed throat
- Manual Function: Can be used when shredding small sized paper or films which can’t be detected by the sensor
- EvenFlow Semi-Automatic Oiling System: Easy to use pump and copper nozzles keep the heattreated steel blades in peak condition
- Auto Cleaning: If shred capacity is decreased, press reverse button for 5 seconds and motor will run in reverse for 1 minute
