These machines can continually shred large quantities of paper for long periods of time and are designed to shred between 2,000 and 12,000 sheets of paper per day. - The shredding power of these machines originates from a 2 Hp continuous duty motor (most models) which allows for longer shred periods without cooling down. In order to provide slip free power to the cutting cylinders a steel chain connects the two components and provides maximum shredding capacity. Removing staples and paper clips are a thing of the past. Dahle shredders can easily accommodate these items without harming the machine and saving you time in the process.
