Jeff M - The wand has a 1 year warranty against manufacture defects. The wand is permanently magnetic. After the initial purchase, let's say 5yrs or any number for that matter, if for some reason a user wanted AML will re-certify their used wand same as new. AML has been selling wands for 20+ yrs and have NEVER had a bad one.
