Product Description
- Apollo has precise, high-quality overhead projectors, from feature-packed, all-purpose units to high-lumen models, specifically intended for dense color, inkjet-printed transparencies. Each model is designed with the projection demands of todays new color printers and copiers in mind.
- Transmissive - The most commonly used overhead projector format with the light source positioned in the base under the projection stage. The light is projected upward through the transparency and reflected by the head toward the screen. (Apollo 3000, 3002, 3400, 16000, 16002)
- Reflective - Excellent for transparency-only presentations, reflective overheads are very lightweight and portable. The light source is positioned in the projection head and projects down toward the stage, which reflects the transparency image back to the head and toward the screen. (Apollo 4000)
- Head Type - Open, duckbill-type head, recommended for most applications, delivers a slightly brighter light than the closed-head type. Closed-head type provides lens protection from fingerprints and dust and is perfect for school use or for industrial environments.
- Lumens - A measurement of light intensity taken at the source of the light. 2,000-4,000 lumens recommended for most transparencies; 4,000+ lumens for detailed, dense-color transparencies, large rooms and uncontrollable environmental lighting areas.
- Stage - The clear glass platform from which transparencies are projected. Larger stages accommodate full transparency sheets in horizontal or vertical orientation.
- Lamp Changer - Allows the user to instantly change lamps by simply flipping a switch, in the event of a lamp blowout. Prevents embarrassing delays in the middle of presentations. (Apollo 3000, 3002, 3400, 4000, 16002)
- Lens Element - The number of individual elements that make up a projection lens. The greater number of elements, the better the quality of the projected image.
- High/Low Switch - Light output control switch that allows the user to use lower lumen output for simple transparency presentations and higher lumen output for color dense transparency slides. Use of the low setting maximizes lamp life. (Apollo 3000, 3002, 3400)
