How do those in New York get rid of their bad 2011 memories?
With a giant paper shredder, naturally.
Wednesday is Good Riddance Day, a day that welcomes a better, new year by shredding away unwanted memories of the old year.
Started in 2007, Good Riddance Day was inspired by a Latin-American tradition.
According to a local Florida news station, the Times Square website gives some examples of what people are shredding:
Whether you’re bidding farewell to pink slips or parking tickets, credit cards or Valentine’s Day cards, the one percent or the 99 percent, your bad memories from 2011 will be destroyed, never to be seen again.
You can have your own Good Riddance Day right in your home with your very own paper shredder.
Don’t have one? Check out a few of our durable yet affordable paper shredders at MonoMachines.com.
