What is an HS6 High Security Shredder?

An HS6 paper shredder is just an abbreviated version of a High Security Level 6 paper shredder.  An HS6 shredder is approved by the NSA for the destruction of top secret documentation.  Simply put, an HS6 shredder shreds paper into dust – looks like a pile of sand almost.

Alternative paper shredder names for HS6 shredders include the following:

NSA High Security Shredder, NSA Approved Shredder, DOD Approved Shredder, GSA Approved Shredder, or just plainly as High Security Shredder

Wikipedia – Paper Shredder – HS6 Size

“CSS 02-01 = 1 × 5 mm required for all U.S. government classified document destruction”
